For many, the death of a pet is like losing a close family member. Pet cremation is just one way to honour your four-legged best friend, who was always there for you, even at the end. Once your loyal pet is no longer around, you will be faced with the difficult decision of what to do with their body. At Pets at Peace Central West, we offer pet cremation services where your pet will be treated with the care and respect they deserve.

Pets at Peace Central West services the following areas: Orange, Bathurst, Blayney, Mudgee, Dubbo, Wellington, Cowra, Cootamundra, Young, Forbes, Parkes, Warren, Gilgandra, Bourke, Cobar, Lightning Ridge, Walgett, Coonamble, Coonabarabran, Coolah, Cassilis, Merriwa and most areas in between.

All Guide Dogs receive our service free of charge. The Guide Dog registration number must be provided.

Each pet’s journey is carefully monitored by our dedicated team using the Pet Tracker™ system, giving you peace of mind that he ashes returned home are of your pet and only your pet.

Pocket Pet Cremation

They may be tiny, but small pets can have big personalities. At Pets at Peace Central West, we recognise that the bond with a small pet is strong. When they die, it’s just as difficult as losing a cat or a dog. Whether it’s a beloved reptile, a chatty bird or a fluffy rabbit, the loss of a small pet is never easy. The death of a small pet will not only affect the human family members, but other pets will undoubtedly grieve too. Pet cremation is an important part of the grieving process for all family members, human and otherwise. You will take time to remember the small pet and the difference they made to your life. It’s also a positive way for children to say their final farewells to their little friend.

Pets at Peace Central West services the following areas: Bathurst, Mudgee, Dubbo, Forbes, Cowra, Blayney, Young, Cootamundra and most areas in between.

The Pocket Pet cremation service is for pets up to 2kg, such as a small rabbit, budgerigar, mouse, small reptile, etc. Every pet that comes into our care is handled with the utmost respect and dignity and privately cremated. Each pet’s journey is carefully monitored by our dedicated team using the Pet Tracker™ system, giving you peace of mind that the ashes returned home are of your pet, and only your pet.

Horse & Livestock Cremation

Over 100kg

There is nothing like the bond between you and your horse. When the time comes to say goodbye you want to give them the care and respect they deserve. Our sister company, Patch & Purr service our horse and livestock cremation with a purpose-built facility and the only cremator in NSW capable of cremating large animals.

We can care for horses the size of a Shetland pony up to a Clydesdale.

Losing a horse or farm animal companion is an emotional time. Providing them with a dignified farewell can help make the grieving process a little bit easier. All horses and large animals are privately cremated in our specifically designed horse cremator. Your beloved horse is returned in a respectful standard woven bag (urn upgrades are available for an additional cost). We have made certain that the journey is honourable and respectful, and we are confident that our horse crematorium operations are best practice.

Pricing

Our prices are dependent on the size of your horse and your location. Our standard horse cremation service is from $1300 (0-7 H – Pony), which includes the careful collection and transport of your horse from any location within a 100km radius of South Windsor. Following a guaranteed private cremation, your horse’s ashes will then be returned to you. Additional charges apply for weekend and after hours collections.

For country and regional horse collections, our transport times and costs will vary according to location. The team are able to travel up to 750km at a per km rate from South Windsor.

You will also have the option to choose from a large range of vessels and memorabilia to create a truly personalised tribute to your beloved horse. These products are available for an additional cost.
